Have you ever wondered why some people take a simple question and have a hissy fit about it. I asked a friend something tonight. It was really a nothing question and much to my surprise my friend exploded at me. She took like 5 minutes and even numbered things when a simple IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS would have done the same thing and saved us both a lot of time. Then she stormed out the door while I was still in shock at her reaction, before I had a chance to ask her why she was going off. I am not saying she did not have a point it was not really my business, but the ironic thing is I had asked her the question because another friend of mine told me she was hostile like that with him and I did not believe it. I had always thought she was one of the nicest people I ever met. That is why I was in shock when she had such a fit about the question. It is sad is it not I was trying to prove I was right she was nice and my other friend was wrong, and she ended up showing me she does apparently at least occasionally have mood swings like he described.
What is more interesting is apparently after she had her hissy fit at me she went to vent to another friend because that friend called yet another friend and asked if there was a fight at my place. I was on Skype with the friend that was called on the phone and I told her no there was no fight and to ask her why she asked. She lied and said she just wondered I told the friend i was on Skype with to spread that bs out on her yard it would do more good.

Worry about your character, not your reputation. Your character is who you are, your reputation is who people think you are.
