Bio
James Obst is a poker pro who is skilled in every game format. He earned his lone WSOP bracelet in a razz event, but he’s most famous for his deep run in the 2016 WSOP Main Event where he made one of the best lay downs in poker history, folding a full house against Michael Ruane’s straight flush. What’s even more amazing is that he made the fold putting Ruane on the straight flush and said in an interview that he would even have folded quads in that spot. Full bio.
