All my life i have been different then mopst people, and when i try to explain it sometimes i get weird looks. I found a book written by a doctor on you tube, and I posted the link to it on my wall. If anyone really wants a clue about what makes me tick, they should listen to this book. About 80% of wht she talks about applies to me and always has. I have known I was an empath for about 30 years, but when you try to explain to people wha that is, they look at you like you should be in a padded room. Most people who have this: I am not sure how i shuld call it some call it a gift, some call it a talent, some call it an ability. Me i see it as a curse. My lifew would have been so much simpliar, if I newver had it. I can not get rid of it. It is just something I am stuck with. People in my own family do not understand me, and why i react to things the way i do, but if any of you take the time to really listen to the book on that link, maybe, just maybe, you will understand why I do some of the things I do that bug people. Think about it people.
REVIEW 17: THE ALPHA CLAIMS A MATE
The Alpha Claims a Mate Is the book I just stayed up all night listening to this first instalment pof the blood moon shifter series. This is an exelent shifter book with just a tiny s&m twist to the plot. Red wolf shifter goes on vacation to a small town where she encounters the grey wolf shifter shariff of the town at a club. She finds him arrogent and bossy, so when he tells her to dance with him instead of asking her to, she tells him no and sets off an incident between the two packs. The alpha of the girls pack called her and told her she was to stay there for the next 2 weeks and be the assistant to the alpha she offended.
They were eah others faited mates, but the alpha that she was fated to had a wild side and not in the treditional shifter way. In the end of the book there were planns for her to stay with him and they would get married. If you like shifter books with just a little s&m this is the book for you. I plan to go back later when i have the whole set of this series and listen to this one again. 5 stars
10 Powerful Rational Quotes That Will Make You See Life Differently:
Found this on prntrest. I did not write it, but i love it.
1. When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.Here’s a friendly reminder that you can’t control external events; the only thing you can control is yourself. You can’t control the tides, but you can learn how to sail.
2. Success hits differently when nobody believes in you. That’s why you have to keep going. We are brainwashed into thinking that everyone should believe in us for our project to succeed. The truth is that others’ beliefs don’t affect the probability of our success.
3. Priority: If someone is really into you, you don’t have to keep begging them for a text, call, or to spend time. They will do it if you are a priority. Always remember that.Don’t lose your self-respect because of love. If people want to be with you, they will be. If they don’t, they will make excuses.
4. The biggest risk is not taking any risk.Calculated risks always change our lives and how we perceive things. We experience new things we never knew because of the risks we take. But there’s no bigger risk than not taking any at all. You’ll remain the same with no growth, and that’s the worst risk you don’t want to take.
5. Exterior beauty, without the depth of a kind soul is merely decoration.A beautiful face without a beautiful soul is hell decorated as heaven. Don’t assume that just because a person is beautiful on the outside means they have a good personality. Some of the most beautiful people I’ve met are those you really don’t want to work with.
6. Worry about your character, not your reputation. Your character is who you are, your reputation is who people think you are. Guard your reputation because it always precedes you, but care more about your character. You don’t want to live your entire life with two faces – the persona you present to the public and who you really are.
7. Things that break your heart are the same things that open your eyes.how painful your first breakup was, but also remember how insightful you became about deception. We don’t actively use our brains when we heavily rely on our hearts.
8. Refuse to lower your standards to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs.Don’t lower your standards in life just because someone expects you to. Maintaining higher standards leads to a better life. Why would you want to lower your standards just to please someone who may not stay with you forever? Think again.
9. The quieter you become, the more you can hear. They always say that the highest form of intelligence is to observe without judging. Observing involves listening, and listening involves being quiet.
10. When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you.
pool live pro
tonineng141 The first two games you played fair, but the last game you had to use your cheat to win, thats sad that winning a game , makes you lose all self respect, your a sad person to think winning is everything, you had my respect until the last game, then you wouldnt even give me a rematch , i hope you lose every game from this day forward
Finally
After 3 years I have finally found a way to get this loop monitor taken out. I will have a visit with the doctor late Nov to see about having it done. I have to go clear to Morgantown Wv, but it will be worth it to have this thing gone. I never really wanted it. I allowed a fast talking doctor and my baby brother to talk me into allowing it to be put in. I wish i had followed my instincts and said no, but my baby brother's oppinion carries a lot of sway with me. He is rarely wrong, and even when he is it is even rarer for him to admit it. lol Fact is there is not a lot he could not talk me into if he tried. This year has sucked as bad as 2016. That year we lost 3 family members in one year. We already lost one of my sisters this year. I really did not want to take the chance of me dyeing on the table, when i get my valve surgery, so I pushed that back till after the first of the year. It is bad enough we have to spend Christmas without our sister; I did not want to totally ruin Christmas for them this year. Well that is what I am telling everyone, but there is another factor at play in my decision. IF I do not make it out of the hospital I selfishly wanted 1 last holiday with my family. I wanted to be with them. I miss my sister a lot. I talked to her nearly every day, and now she is gone. (Can you tell my emotions are everywhere these days?)
REVIEW 15: The Bad Boy of Redemption Ranch (A Gold Valley Novel,) Book 9
The Bad Boy of Redemption Ranch: I guess i will find out if taking books in a series out of line will affect how you view the series. The book appears to stand alone, except for a couple references to things in the past of the characters that must have played out in earlier books. I plan to eventually collect the whole series. This book is really good. It is about an excon cowboy who had been framed nd was eventually vindicated and released, because he was framed by his exwife. She ended up taking his place in prison. After his release he moved to the town his bioloogical father was from, and made contact with his father and a bunch of half brothers, and sisters. On his way into town, he was pulled over for driving too fast. The officer that gave him the ticket was a quick witted young lady officer. They banter a little as she wrote the ticket and ran his id as he was new in town. It was the handsome cowboy that figured out where he had seen her name before after reading her name tag. She was a renter on a piece of property he had bought in town and was moving into the big house on that property. She about choked when he not only figured out her first name, but announced he was her new landlord. lol Being the good officer she gave him the ticket. They both went on their way, but they both felt an attracting to each other. A short time later she saw his truck parked in a loading zone, and was putting the ticket under his windshield, as he came out of a nearby bar. When he asked what she was doing, she said he was parked in a loading zone. He replied YES BECAUSE I AM LOADING. She looked suspiciously as he walked back into the bar and he and the bar owner came out caring a piece of furniture. It had historic value in Texas, and the bar owner was just going to throw it out so West bought It from him, and they were loading it in the truck. West being annoyed with her turned to her and asked if she was still going to give him the ticket. She said no, because he was loading. They kept finding ways to run across each other for a while before they both gave into their impulses. There is a lot more to this book, but long story short. It is a good book, and they get married in the end. As I acquire the others in the series I will let you know how the story goes.
Shock and sadness
The events of 7 October were horrifying. Equally horrifying has been the response of some in the United States.
It's remarkable to watch young people raised so gently and carefully -- no bullying! we cried -- turn into hate-spewing thugs. The selfsame sheltered precious beings on whom was showered so much love and nurturing went to college and came out bullies. The amount of hatred in the world seems to have actually increased -- only the targets have changed.
White people are privileged, good-for-nothing, poisoned by their own entitlement, according to these fruits of our loins. Jews should be massacred en masse, because as Adolf Hitler told us, there was only one "solution." If you're a female athlete who doesn't want to compete with men, you're a bigot and a homophobe, and whatever other name they can shout at you. If you disagree on any point they choose to champion, you should be canceled -- lose your job and ability to feed your family -- even, and especially, if your disagreement is based on faith (unless you're Muslim of course) or fact.
I say those of us who disagree should fight back -- loudly. Pull your kids out of these hate factories that pass themselves off as colleges. Confront those who advocate these hatreds in whatever form they currently espouse it. Refuse to be silenced -- because as that famous saying goes, "...I said nothing. And then they came for me."
Good people -- please speak up, stand up, shout truth from the rooftops, because evil triumphs when good people do nothing.
REVIEW 14: Knotted Complete Series Boxset: Paranormal Romance
This is actually a series of 6 books sold as a set. I will be honest I nearly dropped this set after the first 3 chapters. Actually eht first 10 chapters had little plot . Chapters 2 through 9 were mostly a lot of explisid sex. The blessing is the chapters are only about 15 to 20 min long. I stuck with it and about midways through the first book the plat surfaced. It is set in the future where global warming had messed up the envirement ,and took out most of the population. Those that survived were in 3 classes of people. The alphas( usually big, strong, and many had a sense of entidlement.) The batas( the seconds to the alphas usually in cdontrol of the soldures that protected the clans.) The omegas ( the bottom of the pecking order SO IT SEEMED IN THE BEGINNING ) but turned out the omegas could be just as strong willed as the alphas alpohas that tried to own them.
In this messed up vision of our future if we do not fix global warming, only aloha males and omaga females can still produce children. In a turn to the more primitive natures, the omega females would go into a heat cycle, that would draw every alpha male in a mile ratius to them. The female's heat pheramones would drive the male alphas crazy with lust, all they could think about was ruting th female inheat. Some alphas actually tried to protect and help the omegas protecting them form the other alphas that may take them against their will. The family geniology of the alpha males could be a bit complicated. The first alpha male we were introduced to the head of london, had a half brother that was the head of scotland who wanted him dead and wanted to take back the lands his older brother had taken from the scotts. Three or four books later the younger half brother winds up mated to the sister of the older brother's mate. The older sister and her mate had set up a trap to get his brother and her sister together, what they had not counted on was, the younger brother took the younger sister against her will, and then kidnapped her. Ki the younger brother took cloie the younger sister of hiis brother's mate into his arms, and jumped out a window several floors up into the themes river. She nearly died, but he saved her and got away with her. When Ki took her back to his ancestral home, the daughter of his bata who had a crush on himher whole life, was jealous. She tried to get rid of ki's new mate, by druging her and giving her to the vikings( yes apparently there are vikings in the future and they are huge)
Ok so shorter version EVERYONE WANTS TO TAKE OVER WHAT IS LEFT OF THE WORLD. The last chapter of the last book is a dissapointment. The daughter of Ki's second gives herself to the viking leader to save BOTH the english and the scottish clans. Her dad does not like this at all. but he was out voted by his adult daughter who chose to stay with the head viking, and the leaders of london , and scottland( the half brothers). They are all warned by the vikings not to follow them. The head viking threatens not only to kill anyone that trys to follow them, but also to kill Lisa the girl that gave herself to save her clan and the londan clan also. Lisa's dad was not going to let that go, he was determind to get his daughter back, after her mother's death he became very protective of his daughter. HOW HERE IS THE WORST PART OF THE WHOLE SERIES: They tell her father not to try to get her back she made her choice, he said he was going after her, and that he had a plan. LAST SENTENCE IN THE BOOK HINTED THERE WOULD BE ANOTHER BOOK, BUT I SEARCHED THE NET ALOT, AND A FRIEND OF MINE FOUND THAT THE NEXT BOOK, THE ONE THAT WOULD HAVE REVILED THE PLAN WAS NEVER RELEACED FOR PUBLICATION. To me there is nothing more frustrating that a book that leaves the end of the book with a cliffhanger and then does not follow through with another book to clear it up. I have felt this way after an old series on tv called SOAP ended the series with a bunch of cliff hangers. I was like awwwwww come on.
A note from Nana
9 years ago My sweet sweet Nana wrote me a note and left it on my dresser one morning and her words have helped me thru my journey and I know without a doubt they will help me meaneuver life without her by my side, she was my rock my anchor the one person I could turn to for anything, from adopting me into her family at 9 years old to teaching me about life and all it had to offer good and bad, I know without a doubt without her in my life I wouldn't be the person I am today, she taught me things I never knew I had learned until after she was gone,I miss her bigger than the stars and I know she's in heaven guiding me thru life till I get to see her again one day,,
This was Nanas note that day..

My Part
Every soul, who feels that there's a bunch of dreams left unrealised, remember that as long as the life remains, the possibility to dream remains, that sometimes some dreams that we paint in our hearts are not meant to grow us in our journey of life and then while we walk along the path, even the detours and broken dreams pave way to a whole lot of waking dreams that only the heart of gratitude can see and feel. I've seen and felt and experienced same as some of you , that sometimes some souls have to go through a lot of trials and tribulations, lessons and sufferings, and even then they never fail to wear kindness and grace simply because they know that what happens around them should not intrude upon what is inside their heart. To know that we are here for a purpose and to not live idly, to know that the purpose is as simple as to stay kind and open to every possibility is as beautiful as the sky who knows no matter how dark the night is the stars will always shine.. In a world where everything comes at a price, if you're choosing to stay kind, if you're choosing to value your dignity and your integrity, if your choosing to understand and embrace the smile of solitude, if you're choosing to employ your faculties to understand the real questions of life, then you're alive, much more alive than your human dreams could have made you feel. Because no matter what, when sunset hits the night, and the day comes to a close you know you've done your part, you know you have embraced one more day with gratitude and grace, with a formidable zeal for Life and an invincible spirit of human understanding that stands firm pillared with hope and faith. And then no matter how many voices shrill your mind, the echo of your soul would pierce through your heart and enlighten every inch of your mind, body and soul, and you would know how proud the universe must be to see the faithfulness, the strength and resilience in your soul, the very mould that was shaped in the fire of the stardust that shines upon the sky, sometimes becoming a beacon to others while sometimes lying beautifully hidden but always there, always alive. And so each time, I look at the sky with a bunch of stars, I know I am alive, burning with all that life is made up of. And someday when the day closes for another dawn altogether, I know somehow that I;ve done my part as well as I can maybe its not perfect but I tried and that should be all that matters,
